I am a Consultant Medical Oncologist for Lung and Urology tumours and Molecular Lead at the Department of Oncology of Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, UK.
In the last three years, I worked as the lead of clinical and translational research for thoracic tumours at Candiolo Cancer Institute, FPO-IRCCS, Turin, Italy, clinician scientist and consultant for lung and urology tumours at the Lincolnshire United Hospitals, the University of Lincoln and Nottingham, and Portsmouth University NHS Hospitals Trust in the UK.
I am the coordinator of the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM) clinical guidelines for testicular cancer and a referee for international research committees for cancer research.
I have been leading more than 20 clinical and translational commercial and academic studies for lung and urology cancer as Principal Investigator and joining European research networks. I published about 200 scientific papers.
My current scientific focus is on predictive models for immunotherapy and the professional objective to offer the patient the best-individualised treatment and support.
